Life :: Constant Work in Progress

They say the labor day weekend officially signals the end of a summer.  It has been a week since the long weekend.  I came out of the house this morning at 4:45 to get to the office early for some work I had to get done before 6 a.m.  IT WAS CHILLY forcing me to grab a jacket.  From what I could tell, it had to be low 60’s.

What sucks is that it will probably still reach 90’s for about another month or so during day time.  If this isn’t the perfect weather to catch cold, I don’t know what is.

On a different subject, I have been enjoying meals at Chipotle lately again.  Get the bowl, it’s easier to eat.

My recent love is to improve my skills of brewing a great pot of coffee.  I heard that Starbucks puts in extra QA measures because one of their blends, Sumatra, is a favorite of the Starbucks’ president.  I have bought a fresh bag of beans and invested in a semi-expensive brewer to try.  I am loving more and more how to enjoy a good cup of coffee.  Finding that right balance and mix is very important.  Who knew so much could go into just brewing a cup of coffee for a morning jolt?

Over this Labory Day weekend, we took the kids and went to Vegas. Although we didn’t spend a single minute gambling, the trip was nice. I felt relaxed and wished we could have stayed a bit more.
